The questions directors ask us.

Do we need to change software or install anything?

No. ROHAFYA connects to the software you already use, through an API (ROHAFYA format or HL7 FHIR R4). Your patients do not install anything either: a web browser is enough. The source data stays in your software: you do not depend on ROHAFYA to work.

Our software does not export anything. What can we do?

Give us the name of your software vendor or IT person: many systems export more than people think, and we support them with the documentation and a test facility. Importing PDF reports, which will make it possible to start without an IT person, is not open yet.

Our patients do not have an email address.

Every Android phone is linked to a Google account, and therefore to a Gmail address: your front desk can find it in thirty seconds in the settings. For everyone else, a relative can receive the results, and paper remains available.

We already send results over WhatsApp.

Keep notifying patients over WhatsApp if you wish. But the result itself is better kept in a protected account: no wrong recipient, a record of every access, proof in case of a dispute.

We only hand over results once they are paid for.

The “results after payment” option applies that rule: result details stay hidden until the invoice is paid.

Will our competitors see our patients?

No. Each facility has its own space, data and API key. Only patients see all of their own results.

Where is our data hosted?

We answer in writing, before any commitment: hosting location, authorised staff, data processing agreement. ROHAFYA was designed with data protection in mind; compliance remains your responsibility, and we help you with it.

What if the internet or the power goes down?

Results already published remain available to patients. Sending resumes when the network is back, without duplicates. The administration console also works on a phone.

You are far away. Who helps if something goes wrong?

Nothing is installed on your premises: support is provided by phone, WhatsApp and screen sharing, within 24 business hours, wherever you are in Cameroon.

What does ROHAFYA not do?

No teleconsultation, no appointment booking, no laboratory management, no medical interpretation. For imaging, only reports are published, not the images. ROHAFYA complements your tools without replacing them.
